INCENTIVES

Incentives are something that encourages someone to complete an action.  Giving incentives helps children to know what they are doing is good.  It also tells them to keep up the good work.
My favorite incentives:
1.  Special stickers, special pencils, special erasers
2.  Coupons for play time, movie night, game night, etc.
3.  9 weeks reward party (You can do this in whatever time frame is best for your homeschool)
4.  Special activity for the day such as special story, music, television show, movie, etc.
5.  Reward certificates (These can be bought for $1.00 a pack at Dollar Tree.)
6.  Special book to add to your home library
7.  Special party, movie night, game night, special sleepover
8.  Special reward ceremony with friends and family
9.  Weekly reward from a treasure box filled with small toys
10.  *My favorite*  A clear jar to fill with marbles for each job well done....after it is filled to the top this entitles the children to one big reward such as going to   C. Cheese's, the movies, or a big activity that the children do not get to do that often.
